New progress of the convergence on Japanese weldin
The new standards of welding materials and submerged arc welding fluxes for low alloy heat-resistant steel in Japan are in line with international standards. Welding materials for heat-resistant steel include electrode, flux cored wire, filler wire and solid wire, which are suitable for shielded metal arc welding, MAG welding, MIC welding, TIG welding and submerged arc welding. Flux for submerged arc welding is not only suitable for joint welding but also for surfacing welding. The applicable steels include low carbon steel, high strength steel, chromium molybdenum steel, low temperature steel, stainless steel, heat resistant steel, nickel and nickel alloy, etc. The surfacing method is suitable for both wire electrode and strip electrode, and the surfacing layer is suitable for wear-resistant or corrosion-resistant surfacing.
